Iconic Lifestyle Brand Zippo Launches Rock On!! 2 Windproof Lighter in India

Bangalore, 9th December 2016: The iconic American lifestyle brand Zippo is set to “rock on” in India as it today unveiled the artwork of its exclusive limited edition Rock On!! 2 windproof lighter. The collectable comes as part of a wider partnership with the Farhan Akhtar rock musical drama, Rock On!! 2, which was announced at a star studded photo call earlier this month. The association is a celebration of Zippo’s rich rock music heritage as the band in the film celebrates its reunion performance.

Inspired by the ‘lighter in the air’ moment at rock concerts that has become synonymous with the Zippo brand, this piece of rock and film memorabilia is the perfect accessory to rock out with.

Designed with the film’s team to reflect its energetic rock vibe, the limited edition lighter features the star-studded cast and band members of Magik, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Shraddha Kapoor and Prachi Desai. The musical drama celebrates music and the unconditional bond of love and friendship, marrying two passion points of Zippo fans – movies and music. Magik have come together eight years after their initial outing for an encore moment, appropriately mirroring Zippo’s global Encore music program. 

For those who want to own this one-of-a-kind collector’s item, fans can purchase the Rock On!! 2 Limited Edition Zippo lighter from the William Penn online store and William Penn stores throughout India. The limited run of 100 lighters are priced at INR 3,500. Fans will have another opportunity to get their hands this piece of rock, film and American heritage memorabilia as Zippo will be hosting a series of online contests where they will be giving a Zippo Rock On!! 2 limited edition lighter as a prize
